Roller conveyor manufacturer in Mumbai for cartons, crates and pallets
Industrisol works as a roller conveyor manufacturer and supplier for plants and warehouses in Mumbai and across India. We build gravity, powered and curved roller conveyors in MS, SS and plastic rollers, sized to your load and layout.
- Gravity and powered roller lines from 2 m to 30 m modules
- Roller diameters from 25 mm to 100 mm in MS, SS, PVC or UPVC
- Curves, spurs, stops and side guides to complete the line
- Designed around your carton, tote or pallet footprint
How roller conveyors move goods
A roller conveyor carries loads on a bed of evenly spaced rotating rollers. On a gravity line the rollers are free-running and the load moves by a slight decline or a push from the operator. On a powered line the rollers are driven by chain, belt or motorised rollers, so the load travels on a level bed at a set speed and can be stopped and accumulated.
Rollers suit anything with a firm, flat base: cartons, crates, totes, trays, drums and pallets. For small, soft or irregular items, a belt conveyor is usually the better fit. As a roller conveyor manufacturer serving Mumbai and the rest of India, we help you decide which type, roller pitch and drive your product needs before we quote.
Roller conveyor models
All models are made to order. Roller pitch is set so at least three rollers sit under the smallest item you convey.

What a roller conveyor manufacturer in Mumbai needs from you
Measure the smallest and largest item you will run. Roller pitch and width depend on them.
Not sure about some details? Send what you have — we will ask the right follow-up questions.
- Smallest and largest item: length, width and base type
- Heaviest single load and total load on the line
- Gravity or powered, and target speed
- Line length, width, curves and bed height
- Roller material: MS, SS, PVC or UPVC
- Accumulation, stops or transfers needed
- Site conditions: wet, hot, food contact or clean room
What roller pitch should my conveyor have?
A common rule is that at least three rollers should support the shortest item at all times. For a 300 mm carton that means a pitch of about 100 mm or less. Very small items need closer pitch or a mini roller conveyor. Send your smallest item size and we will set the pitch accordingly.
What decline does a gravity roller conveyor need?
Most gravity lines run at a decline of about 2 to 4 percent, but the right slope depends on load weight, base material and roller type. Light cartons need more slope, heavy smooth loads less. Too much slope causes impacts at the end, so we often add brakes or stops on longer runs.
When should I choose a powered roller conveyor?
Choose powered rollers when the line is long, needs to be level, carries heavy loads, or must stop and accumulate product without operators pushing it. Powered lines also suit automation, where sensors and controls route cartons to different stations. For short manual transfers, gravity rollers are simpler and cheaper.
Which roller material is right for wet or food areas?
Stainless steel rollers on SS frames suit wash-down and food contact. PVC or UPVC rollers are lighter and resist corrosion for light loads in damp or chemical areas. Mild steel rollers, zinc plated or powder coated, are the economical choice for dry warehouse and dispatch duty.
Can a roller conveyor turn corners?
Yes. Gravity curves use tapered or double rollers to keep loads tracking round the bend. For heavy loads such as pallets, a chain driven live roller curve keeps the load driven through the turn. Tell us the turn angle, the load size and the space available, and we will suggest a curve radius.
