Overview
Why water saving products pay back
An ordinary tap typically delivers somewhere between 8 and 15 litres of water per minute, and the flow rises with line pressure. During hand washing most of that water simply bounces off the hands and goes down the drain. A water saving nozzle or aerator fitted to the same tap reduces the flow to a usable 1 to 8 litres per minute by mixing air into the stream, breaking it into a spray or mist, or restricting the flow.
Our water saving products in Mumbai serve housing societies, offices, hotels, hospitals, schools, factories and public washrooms. Because every litre that is not drawn also does not need to be pumped, stored, treated and drained, lower water use also means lower pumping energy and less load on tanks and treatment plants.
For water management beyond the tap, we also supply automatic pump controllers, dry run and single phase preventers, float switches, valve controllers and irrigation control panels, so pumps run only when needed and tanks do not overflow.

Buyer's guide
How to choose water saving nozzles and aerators
1. Check the tap thread. Most taps have either a male or female thread at the mouth. Common sizes include 18 mm, 20 mm, 24 mm and 28 mm. Our tap couplers and adapters let a 24 mm nozzle fit taps with F18, F20 or F28 threads. For outlets with no thread, push-fit flow restrictors are available.
2. Match the flow to the use. Hand wash basins work well at very low flow with a mist or spray pattern. Kitchen sinks need more volume for filling vessels and rinsing, so 3 to 6 litres per minute in a foam or shower pattern is more practical. Health faucets and shower outlets have their own low-flow fittings.
3. Pick the flow pattern. Mist patterns give the largest reduction and suit hand washing. Spray and shower patterns feel fuller and suit rinsing. Foam flow aerators mix air into a soft, non-splashing stream. Dual-mode nozzles let users switch between mist and shower.
4. Consider water quality. Very fine mist nozzles have small orifices. Where water carries sediment or hardness, plan to clean them periodically, or choose a spray or foam pattern that is more forgiving.
5. Look at the material. Brass bodies are durable and suit public and commercial washrooms. Ask about food-grade internal parts where the outlet is used for drinking or cooking water.
6. Think beyond the tap. Overflowing tanks and pumps running dry waste water and power. An automatic pump controller with a float switch or dry run sensor is often the next step after fitting aerators.
Compare water saving sub-ranges
Typical flow figures are from our product listings; actual flow depends on line pressure.
| Range | What it is | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Mist water saving nozzles | Tap-mouth nozzles that atomise water into a fine mist, around 1 to 1.2 litres per minute | Hand wash basins in offices, schools, hospitals and public washrooms |
| Spray and dual-mode nozzles | Nozzles with spray or switchable mist and shower patterns | Wash basins and kitchen taps where users need both modes |
| Foam and laminar aerators | Aerators that mix air into a soft stream, about 2 to 8 litres per minute | Kitchen sinks, pantry taps and basins |
| Flow regulators and fittings | Restrictors, low-flow shower heads, health faucet savers, pressmatic taps | Showers, health faucets and high-traffic washrooms |
| Toilet tank bank | Insert that reduces the volume used per flush in cistern tanks | Older flush tanks in homes and offices |
| Pump and irrigation controllers | GSM, wireless and automatic starters, preventers, valve and fertilizer controllers | Overhead tanks, borewells, farms and drip irrigation |

Not sure about some details? Send what you have — we will ask the right follow-up questions.
- Type of site (home, society, office, hotel, hospital, factory, school)
- Number and type of outlets: wash basin, kitchen, health faucet, shower, flush tank
- Tap thread type and size, or a clear photo of the tap mouth
- Preferred flow pattern (mist, spray, shower, foam) and target flow
- Typical water pressure or whether supply is from an overhead tank or pump
- For pump controllers: pump type, single or three phase, tank distance and level sensing needs
- Quantity required and delivery location
How much water can a tap aerator or water saving nozzle save?
It depends on the tap and the pressure. An ordinary tap often runs at 8 to 15 litres per minute, while our nozzles and aerators are rated from about 1 to 8 litres per minute. On a wash basin, replacing a full stream with a 1 to 2 litre per minute mist or spray can cut use by a large share without changing how the tap is used.
Will a water saving nozzle fit my tap?
Most taps have a standard male or female thread at the mouth. We supply couplers for common thread sizes such as 18, 20 and 28 mm so a standard nozzle can fit, and push-fit restrictors for outlets with no thread. Send a photo of the tap mouth and we will confirm the right fitting.
What is the difference between a mist nozzle and a foam aerator?
A mist nozzle atomises water into very fine droplets at very low flow, which is ideal for hand washing. A foam aerator mixes air into the water to give a soft, full-feeling stream at a moderate flow, which suits kitchen sinks where you need to fill vessels and rinse dishes.
Do low-flow aerators work with low water pressure?
Most aerators and spray nozzles work on normal overhead tank pressure, but very fine mist nozzles need some pressure to atomise properly. If your building has low pressure, tell us when you enquire and we will suggest a spray, shower or foam pattern that performs better in those conditions.
How do I maintain water saving nozzles?
Unscrew the nozzle every few weeks or months, depending on water quality, and rinse the screen and outlet to remove sediment. For hard water deposits, soak the parts in a mild descaling solution such as diluted vinegar, then rinse and refit. Do not poke the fine orifice with pins.
Can you supply water saving products in bulk for a building or campus?
Yes. We supply quantities for housing societies, offices, institutions and facility management projects in Mumbai and across India. Share the outlet count by type and thread size, and we will prepare a quotation with suitable models for each outlet.
